Like an Egg Productions makes films for business and communities

Valley of Kings is a new-comer in the world of British MMA. Yet with its launch show at the MotorPoint Arena Cardiff to an audience of 3000 it certainly marked its territory as one of the biggest. And if post event comments are true one of the best.

Valley of Kings is a huge project for the Like an Egg Team. We were fortunate to be on board at the birth of the idea. We have had an influencing role in all aspects of Production and Design. In the early stages this involved creating and designing the promotional videos. Our brief was to create the feel of what the event will be like. VoK wanted to move away from the standard British marketing of such events i.e. Blood and Guts to create something more akin to UFC (the World leaders in MMA Events).

With high expectations we delivered two short videos that started a buzz of excitement in the Welsh MMA world. With over 3000 views per video our goal of launching a high class event was very successful.

The first video itself involved creating an original soundtrack, using Green screen technology and touches of CGI.

Valley of Kings Second Promo

The Second was live action filmed at a local blacksmith. The trophie for the title fight was to be a sword and it seemed only right that it should be crafted in the old ways. We created the original soundtrack and let the visuals do the talking.

Radio Advert

We were then commissioned to create a radio advert to be played on Nation Radio. Working together with one of Wales’s top voice actors we created a 30 second advert that was received very well

The Valley of Kings Event

On the event day all aspects of the Like an Egg Team were in use. Our role was to produce the best MMA event in the UK. This included a 13 camera live feed  plus a roving film crew. We also stepped into the role of Event Production and delivered a show that sent the audience away wanting more. We are thrilled to be part of the legacy that Valley of Kings is sure to be and will continue to be at the front of its Production and Video controls.
