Back in August we were given the exciting opportunity to capture the marvelously diverse music scene on offer in Cardiff. Hub Music Festival took place on Womanby Street, in 8 different venues, accommodating over 150 separate acts. The scenes were incredible, the street was awash with bursts of colour and echoes of great live music.
Everyone’s taste in music was catered for in this celebration of independent venues and musicians. Not only was there live music; dancers, free runners and graffiti artists performed on the street in between the numerous venues. The atmosphere was electric and the sights were brilliant. This mini festival created a carnival ambiance in Womanby Street, it was our role to capture it and produce a video advertising next years Hubfest.
It was important to portray the diversity and vast array of different things going on at the festival. Luckily there was no shortage of amazing things happening for us to film. We interviewed the organisers, musicians and attendees of the festival, to give an in depth description of what was going on. Womanby Street was definitely the Hub for culture that weekend and we’re confident that our video reflects this. We look forward to experiencing Hubfest again next year!
